Evaluation of the safe consumption of aqueous extract of flour from Stichopus variegates

This project involved the study of evaluation of the safe consumption for Stichopus variegatus flour through toxicological analysis for 7 days (single doses), then subchronic assays for 4 weeks. A both of them was using a male BALB/c mice, likely 10 mice for acute toxicity and 28 mice for subchronic toxicity. Some parameters have observed as physical observations, changes in behavior, the presence or absence of death due to administration of sea cucumber flour extract through oral, biochemical composition of blood serum; and histology of liver, lymph and kidney in male BALB/c mice.
